Residential Camp

The Wildcat soccer program's home pitch is natural grass Lewis Field. Lewis measures 118-yards x 72-yards and adjoins two natural grass practice areas. UNH added two new synthetic fields in 2002. Memorial Field, primarily used by the UNH Field Hockey and Lacrosse programs, is a lighted AstroTurf playing facility. Bremner Field is a state-of-the-art lighted AstroPlay synthetic grass facility. The Wildcats played the first-ever home night game on campus beating intrastate rival Dartmouth 2-1 on Bremner Field on October 1, 2003.

In 2007, Cowell Stadium field was updated with a world class synthetic grass surface made by Field Turf. The University of New Hampshire has completed major upgrades to facilities in recent years. The Reggie F. Atkins Track and Field Facility was completed in the fall of 2001. It features an eight-lane track, jumping and vaulting pits, and a throws area. Snively Arena, the legendary hockey venue, has been transformed into a three-story state-of-the-art recreation facility. The Hamel RecreationCenter features a fitness center, indoor track, weight room, racquetball/squash courts, aerobic studio, martial arts studio, a three-court gymnasium, and two fully-boarded indoor soccer fields.

The UNH Boys Residential Camp provides a competitive environment for every player. Grouped by age and ability, high demands will be placed on each player through technical and tactical training, small sided games, and full sided “test” matches in the evenings.
